Scanbio Marine Group AS was established in 1984 with register office in Trondheim, Norway, production facilities in Bjugn and Lysøysund, Norway, transport vessels among Norwegian coastline and the warehouse in Scotland. Scanbio is a leading Norwegian producer of fish protein concentrate, hydrolyzed meal, and fish oil processed from pelagic, white and salmon by-Products.

Company’s mission is to deliver to the market high quality, biologically pure marine protein and oil products for mixed fodders, animal feed, aqua feed, and bio-fuel market. The products include white and pelagic fish by-products, wild caught (white category 3), salmon trimmings (red category 3) and mortalities from aquaculture (category 2). Silage technology preserves fish by-products and together with efficient logistics and improved nutrition delivers to the production locations for processing.

Our team’s professionalism and 20 years operational experience in the market allow our company to execute regular supply of protein-rich products and provide the maximum supervision of the entire process as well as choose the optimum logistics scheme to warehousing and delivery of product to its end-users.
