About us

PetroMarker is fully owned by the Norwegian company Electro Magnetic Time Vision (EMTV).

PetroMarker’s theoretical and technological developments are complemented by a wealth of Norwegian and international experts in the electromagnetic field, some of them with more than 25 years of experience.

PetroMarker’s offices are based in Stavanger (Norway), with workshop facilities, at the Dusavik NorSea offshore base.

PetroMarker’s workforce encompasses all activities from R&D, design and fabrication to tests and marine operations.

Improved investigation The methodologies used and patented by PetroMarker are in the time domain and markedly different from the frequency domain methodologies already in use. Marketed under the name of TEMP-VEL (Transient ElectroMagnetic Prospecting with Vertical Electrical Lines) and TEMP-OEL (Transient ElectroMagnetic Prospecting with Orthogonal Electric Line), they provide deeper penetration and higher accuracy than previously experienced.
