Intertek West Lab was established as an independent laboratory in 1980. In 1998, the company was bought by a British consortium, and is currently owned by Kite Overseas Holdings B. V., which is registered in the Netherlands. Intertek Group plc is the final holding company and is registered on the London Stock Exchange.
Intertek is an international company with over 30,000 employees. The company is represented in over 100 countries, at some 1000 laboratories. Intertek West Lab is part of the Industrial & Assurance division.
