Bergen Tanker Brokers was founded in 1986 by the three shipbrokers Edward Jansen, Steinar Håvik and Arne Teigland. BTB has since the beginning been working both as exclusive brokers and as competitive brokers, mostly throughout the Northern-Europe region handling the chemical small-tanker-segment.

Here at Bergen Tanker Brokers we put our name and reputation in providing our customers with the best possible information at all times. BTB has been located in Bergen, one of the foremost Norwegian shipping cities, for the past twenty years. Today BTB is concentrating our business within liquid chemicals, clean and dirty petroleum products.

Bergen Tanker Brokers consist of brokers and personel divided into the following departements:

CPP/DPPdepartment: competitive brokers World Wide
Chemicals department: competitive brokers for chemicals, edibles and UAN
Post-fixtures and operations department: dedicated personel ensures smooth running

In addition to this BTB work as a closed-knit team handling both time-charter tasks and delivering consultancy services, placing BTB as key player in the market.
